Elastic Couplings

A coupling is used when two shafts need to be connected.

Depending on the requirement, rigid couplings, elastic or flexible couplings may be used.

Elastic couplings allow irregularities in rotation, shocks, and binary peaks to be absorbed or mitigated, absorbing vibrations, compensating for small shaft misalignments, and, in some models, they can work as a fuse to avoid damage in case one of the shafts gets blocked.
